MeetBackdrops provides high-quality virtual background images for use in video conferencing, online meetings, and related communications. The majority of our backgrounds are available as free downloads for personal use. A selection of premium HD backgrounds are available exclusively as paid downloads and are marked with a 💎 HD Only badge.
Free virtual backgrounds provided by MeetBackdrops are licensed for personal use only, including:
Certain images on MeetBackdrops are designated as HD Only and are not available as free downloads. These images are exclusively accessible through a paid HD image pack.

As an alternative to one-time packs, HD images are also available through a monthly subscription:
Subscriptions are billed and managed through Stripe. Subscription pricing is subject to change with prior notice; you will be notified before any price increase takes effect on your account. Per the refund policy below, fees already paid are non-refundable.
HD backgrounds obtained through one-time packs or a subscription are licensed for the same personal uses described in Section 3. Commercial use of HD images requires a separate commercial license. HD images may not be redistributed, resold, or shared with others, and your subscription does not transfer ownership of any image.
Upon successful payment, HD images are made available for immediate download as high-resolution PNG files. It is your responsibility to download and save your purchased images. MeetBackdrops is not responsible for lost downloads due to browser issues or expired download links.
The wishlist feature allows you to save HD images to your browser for convenience. Saving an image to your wishlist does not constitute a purchase, reservation, or guarantee of continued availability or pricing. Wishlist contents are stored locally in your browser and will be lost if you clear your browser data.
You are specifically restricted from all commercial uses, including:
All virtual backgrounds, website content, and related materials are the original intellectual property of MeetBackdrops and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. We retain all rights, title, and interest in our virtual backgrounds.
Organizations deploying virtual sets across distributed teams — with their own brand integrated into the environment — work with the studio directly through the Branded Backgrounds program. Annual term, single invoice, procurement-ready delivery.
You agree not to use our backgrounds in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or could damage our reputation. You also agree not to claim ownership or authorship of our virtual backgrounds.
The information and backgrounds on this website are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeetBackdrops excludes all representations, warranties, and conditions relating to our website and backgrounds.
In no event shall MeetBackdrops, nor any of its officers, directors, and employees, be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our virtual backgrounds, whether such liability is under contract, tort, or otherwise.
All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of our products — including HD image packs and monthly subscription fees — we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits once a purchase is completed and download access has been granted. Cancelling a subscription stops future billing but does not refund the current billing cycle. By completing a purchase or starting a subscription, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy. If you experience a technical issue preventing download, please contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will work to resolve it.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices.
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
