By accessing and using MeetBackdrops ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
MeetBackdrops is a virtual set design studio producing studio-designed virtual background environments for video conferencing, online meetings, and related communications. Every background is available as a free PNG download for individual professional use. Selected backgrounds are also offered as paid HD Editions at 2912×1632.
Free virtual backgrounds provided by MeetBackdrops are licensed for individual professional use, including on work calls for the company you work for:
No attribution required. Free downloads are subject to the fair-use limits described on the License & Usage page (currently 30 per day).
Images marked as available in HD can also be purchased as a full-resolution HD Edition (2912×1632 PNG). The free version of each image remains available; an HD Edition is an optional upgrade.

HD backgrounds obtained through one-time packs are licensed for the same individual professional uses described in Section 3 — buying adds resolution, not additional rights. Embedding images in products you sell requires a separate commercial license (Section 5). HD images may not be redistributed, resold, or shared with others, and purchase does not transfer ownership of any image.
Upon successful payment, HD images are made available for immediate download as high-resolution PNG files. It is your responsibility to download and save your purchased images. MeetBackdrops is not responsible for lost downloads due to browser issues or expired download links.
The wishlist feature allows you to save HD images to your browser for convenience. Saving an image to your wishlist does not constitute a purchase, reservation, or guarantee of continued availability or pricing. Wishlist contents are stored locally in your browser and will be lost if you clear your browser data.
Regardless of which tier you are on, you are restricted from the following uses:
The embedding uses above are available under a paid commercial license: an Extended License ($49/image) or a Commercial Library License ($299/year) covering the entire catalog for one company. See Commercial Licensing.
All virtual backgrounds, website content, and related materials are the original intellectual property of MeetBackdrops and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. We retain all rights, title, and interest in our virtual backgrounds.
Organizations deploying virtual sets across distributed teams — with their own brand integrated into the environment — work with the studio directly through the Branded Backgrounds program. Annual term, single invoice, procurement-ready delivery.
You agree not to use our backgrounds in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or could damage our reputation. You also agree not to claim ownership or authorship of our virtual backgrounds.
The information and backgrounds on this website are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeetBackdrops excludes all representations, warranties, and conditions relating to our website and backgrounds.
In no event shall MeetBackdrops, nor any of its officers, directors, and employees, be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our virtual backgrounds, whether such liability is under contract, tort, or otherwise.
All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of our products — including HD image packs and licenses — we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits once a purchase is completed and download access has been granted. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy. If you experience a technical issue preventing download, please contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will work to resolve it.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices.
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
